Hi guys, first of all; long time, no post. Have I missed much?

Read something about some Highlander league going on, didn't see a post here so I'm guessing the clan side of NE have already got a team sorted?
Any one else up for it? I think I've forgotten who I main as now, I think it's either spy or scout.

It's a plugin that will change the map after X amount of minutes if there hasn't been any players. Useful if the server was left on a map no one wants to play.

I do, but if deviland plans on making this public by putting it on fpsbanana then other servers will use it. And a lot of idle servers either kick you for speccing or force you onto a team.

One thing I hate about all idle maps, apart from idle4life, is that people can push you out of to room and mess up your stats. Seriously, this even happens on the NE idle server, knock it off guys.
Solution: Make a step *up* at the exit so you cant be pushed out of the "death area". (Do this also on the tracks with the cow-train)

Another problem is medics healing you forever, also messing your stats up.
Solution: Make a moving floor, that pushes you off a cliff into a death pit.

Boxing ring is a bit small. And layout is a bit messy/all over the place. It's an idle map, so just keep things simple.
Also, I keep getting the purple checkboard bug on the glass cabinets of hats, and the hats at the top are hard to see. Don't use glass and move them all to eye-level.

EDIT:
Also, maybe change the name and put the NE on the end. When I search for an idle server to go on, I type "achievement_idle*" in the search box to avoid results of non-idle maps showing up. So yours wouldn't show up for people who also do this.

best to run those on 67   


L4D2 is a 30 tick game. 67 works for TF2, and 101 works for CSS. But for optimal performance use 30 on L4D2.

I was thinking recently, that I haven't played 2fort since I first got this game. And even when I did play it, it was on those 32p instarespawn servers. All I remember is that it is an atrociously bad map.

But it got me wondering. I wouldn't be surprised if some people on NE haven't even played it before, if they have steered clear of crappy servers.

Left 4 Dead / Lets get some VS and Scavange games going

So I finished the campaign and dived straight into Versus followed by Scavange.

And OMG, Versus makes me rage so hard. I don't usually rage at games, so I consider this a good thing. Scavenge is also really good game mode too, I can see it more suited to competitive play as its a more tight game mechanic, communication is even more important than Versus and the matches are quicker.

Anyway, this is just a heads up to Scavenge mode, try it out if you haven't already.
