crosshair problem :(

i lost my crosshair and it is now replaced by the ugly default texture :(


anyone got any ideas how to get my crosshairs back ?

Ouch!  That's a nightmare.  I've no insta ideas for a smart and tidy fix.  Sorry.

You've tweaked your crosshairs?  Customised?  I think one can do that with TF2, but ain't sure.

They should be in your "team fortress 2 materials.gcf"  file in the crosshair folder i would try to verify your steam tf2 files to see if it can fix them.Failing that you can use GCFScape app to add them back in   "\tf\materials\vgui\crosshairs" in to the file i mentioned above which i can supply both of if needed.

nope :(  it's still "playable" but still quite annoying for ennemies far away

You could try setting a custom crosshair in the options, maybe it will fix it.

lol me total noob, i didn't even see that you have a crosshair settings in the same page as for the graffiti (is it new ? or was i totally blind ?) and it was at "no crosshair" ^^ so now it's fixed ! thanx a lot Carth :)

It's new from the 2nd of Feb (source). Might have missed it because it had a few updates right in before and after it.
