I did do some work on it, but lost interest for a while.

I really don't like the lifts in it either but the concepts of open views I like and was trying to make it work.

I should have a bit of time free soon, So I'll have another look at it. :)

After the mild panic of not finding it on my system - Thank God for backup's. I've had a look at it and it has interested me again and I have had a mess around.
I plan to redo the lifts next week and once that is done I'll put it up for you to have a gander at.

Well it's been awhile. :)
I've had a bit of free time on my hands atm. So I looked again at this. I know it's not going to get massive game play but here's the latest beta

Know issues:

Yes you can get outside - blocking volumes to be added
lighting is pants atm - I need to study dynamic lighting more to dim the lifts down
Still needs details to be added- one room is very blank

I think the feel of the gameplay is there though.
What do you think? let me know any problems.
Thanks

but you see you are not even running a bta/tam server?

I read the other post which said it was not getting used. I went for over a month seeing that it was not online before I came here and saw the thread that you had changed it's IP.
This probably caught a lot of players out.
I play on the FA2K server now and that is always full.

I think Zeus took BTA off but its no drama to get it back on if its going to be used, the FA2K server does my head in tbh, I think they have turned up the damage lots and you last no time at all, well that and they are all such spammy feckers lol.  Also have came across a few cheaters there, one dude had radar and it was so obvious

Thank god, it's just not me. I do die quick on it and with some very lucky shots- I'm sure radar if not aimbots are in common use there.

Do you think they are two powerful?

On the map front, I really dont like the lifts so that is the last major thing to change then I think it's about done if game play does not through anything up.

Well UT3 lifts all seem to work the same, its jump the moment you get on them where as UT2004 you had to time the jump so you jump at the apex of the lift, I think UT3 just doesn't handle long lifts well, mind you I know nothing about coding and all that so dunno for sure

I say we get a few BTA nights going and play test the map, theres enough of us here to get some decent comments etc.. going, I am really busy now after work most nights unfortunately but I would defo be up for this

I think we need to start by getting BTA back on the server
