Nice one LC, looking good.

Few things:

Layout wise:
Page 3, random 7 midway down left hand side.
I think it would be more readable with pictures centred and captions below, rather than to the right.

Content wise:
The 'mic boost' bit is glossed over, but it's usually key for it to be on, and if people need the guide, I'm not sure they'd know how to turn it on.

Other than that I think it's top drawer, good work!

Thanks Para.  Shall look into those.

I'm going to prepare an executive summary version too.  Cut the images out and give the minimum actions for just getting it up and running.

Edit110509: version 2 uploaded; some annoying formatting issues; mic boost and exec summary tba

I think so. Ekay was asking for it, and I couldn't find it.

Thanks.

Note that I've still not done the mic boost in Windows setup notes nor the executive summary.

You could always type it up into a forum thread, that would probably be easiest on everyone involved!

Not imo Enef, because I believe the screenshots are very useful and help clarify details that would take whole paragraphs of text.  Maybe the executive summary could me text only and I'll think on that.

Word can covert to html. Once you've got a final version, might be worth sticking up an html version somewhere. But imo, pdf does the job fine.

What are you using to generate the pdf? Is it sticking those Footers in there? I don't like them :p

I hate pdfs. I have no pdf reader even installed on my computer. Imo a 'web' version (forum post with pics, html version, whatever) would be good.
'Course, I don't need the guide so it's nps to me ;)

Not meaning to sound negative! I'm sure the produced pdf is very good and useful!

pdf's are OK as long as you don't install the browser pdf reader add-on, make it open in the pdf app instead :)
