I still don't see the advantage of mumble - to me its no different than teamspeak or ventrillo

The main reason ts is still used by the UT3 peeps is because its well known and most will have it set up on their pc so we get new peeps joining in with us no problem, gamers don't want to have to set up new comms as they're a lazy bunch tbh

In soviet Russia, mumble configures you

haha fuckin classic, cheers Blizz, that made me spit out my tea...lol

Tbh Mumble is just as simple as TS once you have it set up. It is just that initial setup wizard that is a bit of a fuss, but you can just click next through most of it. After that it's as simple as entering server details and clicking connect, just like TS, and not overly awkward like Vent which I hate.

The advantage of Mumble is not something you can see, it's the lower latency and better quality.

Yes - but don't ask me how - LC was a great help (as always) when I set mine up - we just got on mumble and he talked me though it

configure > settings > messages tab
just untick the "text to speech" boxes for the things you don't want to hear

this could probably do with being un-stickied, as things are so different (and easier!) in 1.2.0 that it'll just confuse people

Personally, I think that THAT guide, on how to Install Mumble and Get Going with Mumble, is very good for those users who have never experienced using Mumble. Good work

If you are verified you can't. You have to reinstall mumble.
