I also never saw crits get voted on the HH server, but I have only been on it a dozen or so times. But every time there were not enough yes votes.

Critz on a heavy works just fine.  Particularly good as a defensive counter to an uber rush if the heavy can stay hidden - once the uber is running out and all the enemy team have charged in a critzed heavy jumping into view should kill absolutely everything.
If there are many enemies and you can surprise them it's good. But it's pretty easy to see it coming, and to run from.

It won't bother me much if voting for criticals is implemented in the server but I still prefer it wasn't. It's not enforcing rules on people if there's no voting for criticals, only frustrated assholes don't like crits because they stand in front of crit rockets too much.

Look, my interest here is having a cogent and adult conversation about a feature some people like. There's no need to start calling those of us who have one opinion of crits frustrated assholes.

Edit: Brevity.

I didn't call any of you assholes  :P , I only said that because I know people who quit playing TF2 because of crits!

I understand why you want the choice of having random crits or not, but while having no-vote doesn't bother anyone, having a vote will eventually affect people's game experience, both positively and negatively, that's what I think (might be wrong).

this is true though, if ppl get to choose eventualy and they say no i want critz, and it gets diabled, then they might get a bit mad.

I liked the vote [Random crits: 1. Yes 2. No] option at map start on the Jolt server I played on yesterday.

Offtopic:  Also enjoyed the Alltalk for a change.  Gonna add that to the 'what to do with the other server' thread, which is in the Contributors section.

Now that we have a larger forum visiting community, would it be possible to have a revote on this?

Personally I like the crit vote.

Mainly because crits suck when your trying to get some kind of aiming practice going, but they rock when your just on for a laugh and you can watch multitudes die to your crockets and crickies(!?).

Voting FTW!  Let the peple decide.
