Buying Left 4 Dead 2 ?

As with l4d valve is offering 4 packs of this game, the price of which works out to be cheaper per person than if we all purchased it individually.  I propose that those wishing to pre-order the game get together in groups of 4 to take advantage of this.  If you are interested in this idea please sign up bellow

I'm getting it but would like to know how this works, steam download?  Basicaly i don't mind what I pay as long as its hassle free

It'll work out as £20.-- per person this way. Rather than £27 (pre-order price).
I'd also like to point out that the Steam pre-order price is the same as Amazon/Play.com, which is a first as Steam is usually over priced.

So going for the 4 pack would work out as very cheap indeed.

I'm interested in going halves (quarts?), although I can never find the time to play L4D1 anyway. So might need to think about it. Anybody know when the pre-purchase finishes/ (ie, deadline to decide if I want to get it).

@Zofo, if you order off Steam, it'll be Steam automatic steam download when it's released (and demo download before that). Very hassle free - as with all valve games.

Steam is usually over priced.

Steam is usually slightly more expensive when buying 3rd party games. In my experience, Steam is often the cheapest place to pick up Valve titles.

How does this deal work? Do you all have to buy it each or does one person pay? It would be awesome if I can get it for £20 (and an English version instead of the censored German one!) and someone gifts it to me. And then I will pay you for it.

Well, I'm guessing you can't gift your own copy (ie, you gift 3 copies).
I am gona guess that more than 4 people will want to get this and participate in the split, so there will probably be a need for more than one instigator.

Well, I'm defo in. Whoever buys the pack, post/email/PM/IM/TS/mumble your preferred way of receiving payment. I'm guessing this would be paypal?

agree totaly gay censored, and noway i can ever fix my tf2 again, however, if you guys would buy it then it would still need to get sended to me, if you gusy cna do that, i can donate the money for teh game through the site.
