Its been quite difficult to find a decent game recently, either the skill level is piss poor, the server has titan enabled, the game is so one sided that its spawn and die, basically hard to find a fun game, found  a few but not much

So yeah, thank f**k for the fun nights

i have tried some WAR yesterday and it wasn't fun at all. It seemed that teams were always the same even efter a map change (and they were awfully uneven, i finished 3rd of my team without knowing what to do, never played the map before ...), is it always like that or was it just that server (an epic 32p iirc ... the only one with players on it btw ) because if so it really sucks ...

Damn right there. My fav game type is WAR, but now I'm restricted to Spammy Laggy R***** or Titan.
I have no problems killing titans, they die easily if you spam link or pancake them. I just don't find BEING a titan fun. I normally spend a whole damn round with titan ready without using it (unless our team is being battered).

The fun nights and pick-ups are the only things worth playing now (I only started playing pick-up games last night after the advice of UponAll1, good stuff).

Finding a war game is easy - just join the «ne» Warfare server - yes you may have bots to start off with but you soon get folk joining

Well thats what I do.

Pickups r great, as long as you can commit for the length of the game, which can be tricky here(Wife and kids)

I've tried joining NE and other empty servers. I normally end up waiting around in those for over an hour before and never have more than 2 people (3 if I'm lucky) join

yep that happens - but other times end up with more

We should use irc more, I have rarely seen the server not fill up when 4 of us join, if anyone wants a game then shout out on irc, if i'm home during the week I am available to play

yes it was nicer on ne even if i passed my time wondering where to go and what to do ... in that case i usually enter a turret, especially far from the fight, and i look at the landscape ... easier to do than dodging zofo's shock beams ^^

tbh there should be a rule against team mates taking my Manta's. Love getting Rampages in my Manta.

Shame the server crashed during Flux. I was really enjoying that map despite I thought I'd dislike it.

Servers werent down for long, the games after it was back up were good craic also, cheers all who showed up, made it a good night

Personally I still feel that if it stayed down the best course of action would be to reset the whole thing.   

Good night though. Gotta love that Dreamus(?) map and bitch-slap. No idea why or how DownTown got voted at the end of the night though!

hehe, well as it happens the whole box was restarted due to auto updates so every server went down for a while
