-Don't use the helicopter unless you've practice on an empty server, the controls are very tricky and you will just crash instantly like every one I know. I've even practised for an hour on an empty server and I still find it hard...

Did you inverse the controls for air vehicles?  sometimes you need to do that

Watched the trailer for this the other day and was well impressed. But when Humbug informed me of the server status was put off

But will download the beta and see if I can get a beta key and try it out

Controls are fine. The fact is you have to tilt forward to move forward and it's VERY easy to tilt too far when you're in a panic and being shot. A few degrees too far and you'll go into a nose dive that's near impossible to get out of.

the heli i have no problem flying, only took me 1 or two attempts now i consider myself a leet pilot

If i remember correctly Rocky said the other day on mumble that there is a fix out there for the problem you are facing. I dunno though as ive not got the game myself.

It's still in beta and I don't think you're alone with the problem. Go to the beta forums and share your problem, it should be fixed by the time the game is released.

I'm good with the black hawk but I still suck with the Apache, I think they handle differently. Really does take some getting use to if you've never used such a control system before. With the black hawk I don't even use the mouse as the keyboard is easier.

It's still a pre-order and you only have access to the beta at the moment, if you want tell them that you demand a refund since the game doesn't work and you're not been given assistance, etc.

I doubt I could ever get a refund, Steam have it in their agreement - no take backs, well they gave me a refund on Section 8 pre-order before when I moaned like a bitch to them about the release date once


I would rather get it working, i need a new game to play, I just know its going to come down to opening ports & I hate messing about with that shit, it also never works for me, i will try again later to get online

they're unlikely to give you a refund on a game that isn't out for almost 4 weeks on the grounds that it's not working

this is why they have open betas, to sort out the kind of problems you only run into when you have large amounts of people using the thing

Had same issue myself Zofo tonight - but then I tabed in and out to see if their was any firewall issues and it just worked.

Plus you cant have a refund as you told me the game was brilliant and I should get it, so I did

I think zofo can't connect purely because it hates him.
