for steam users the patch should be live at roughly 5pm gmt.

but seriously, its more cosmetic than anything...cuz ya know "flickering ships" are more important than things such as autobalance (which is server side, but still..)

Hmmmm, must play this.  So far I have stats of: kills:1 Deaths:2 Total play time......8 mins. ish.  Will it auto update if not on steam or do I need to manually do it, anyone any clue?

did you buy via steam?

if so it will auto download (may require a steam restart for it to kick in) tonight. (roughly 5pm gmt)

have you managed to get a game then monkeh?

i would say it will auto update on steam.  EA are waiting for Valve to get out of bed and press the _release patch_ button

I didn't buy it on steam no, I cannae you see, no debit/credit card atm!
I got one quick run round, got very confused, and ran for the cover of TF2!  Must try harder......

well you'll have to run the patch updater then if it dont run it by its self.  will be in the game dir i would of thought.

Obviously I shall have to look in 'the game dir', next to the 'game gibberish' no doubt.  What is a game dir?
