I keep getting killed by level 40+ dudes, is there any noob friendly servers?

you need to think sneaky
never go round a corner without aiming- charging in gun ho will only get you killed use the GL (noobtube) and G
and death steak of 4 kills is nothing - happens to me all the time
pick up others weapons as you get all their kit when you do
there is only one Armour upgrade and very few use it so we are all as weak as each other
Alot of high ranked players aren't using their best weapons as they r maxed out on awards for every 100kills - gold stars etc ( I don't unless the going gets tough.
And of course you don't know the maps

If you playing assault it should be kill reload or shoot hide reload - spot them and aim for the base of the little orange icon - 'headshot' tap on trigger unless close up, if really close kill with the danger ( how someone can kill you with a danger with a M16 ripping though their guts is beyond me - but the danger wins close up in BFBC2)

oh and for games settings with your rig I would suggest

1680x1050 low settings AF-1 AA-0 and you should get good FPS you can always turn up the detail for solders

Play with the contrast so you can see in the shadows - the default setting my look the best but you wont see folk hiding - helps a lot you can adjust it whist playing just press 'esc' then 'options'

So it looks like everyone just camps in BC2, I am not complaining because I killed this level 38 dude yesterday 5-6 times by camping at the same flag, I just moved about once I figured the kill cam was off me, at one stage I C4'd the flag, that was fun


What gets me is the instant kills these folks are getting on me, it just doesn't seem all that fair & is ruining my enjoyment of the game



So what other advice can you give me, I will try to be more ninja like, oh I just found out about the parachute, up until then i was bailing out of the chopper and dying as I haven't figured out how to land it yet

hehe Zofo you sound just like me when I started playing this game. Best advice is to play with a group of guys you know on mumble/ts cos they can tell you what you should be doing and if you have any questions they can answer them (I know I asked a hell of a lot). Stick with it and learn the maps and soon enough you will be the one killing people before they know it. Another thing, you probably dont have a lot of the better guns unlocked yet so I'll tell you which ones I think are strong:

W1911 pistol
AN-94 abakan
M16
M416
M60
M249 SAW
Aks74u
Carl Gustav (this is a anti vehicle rocket launcher but its got me a redonculous amount of kills, just be prepared for some abuse if you do use it though ^^)

First lesson i learned was that rushing hardly works, unless you´re flanking like a pro. You don´t have to camp 24/7 but you always gotta be watching for an enemy while u move from cover to cover. After that it's just a matter of shooting the guy before he shoots u.
I also got alot of kills as engineer, the gustav is sweet and i do pretty good with the smg as well.
Currently i hardly get scores below a k:d of 2, unless i have a really bad day.

oh Zofo don't forget to SPOT the enemy for your squad temp.
As sometimes it is better to spot and not shot as Its will give away your position (esp if you have flanked the enemy). Spot a while and let you squad m8s spawn on your position then move in for the kill.

Pick up others weapons when they die - esp team m8s there weapons r better than yours

Rush in groups. It's super effective. Also add some mumble-talk and you're good to go.
And of course have one of each (ish) class in your squad helps too.

So to spot I see a dude and I just press Q?   I have been being more sneaky and stuff, I ran over this dude trying to C4 my tank, that was fun, I am now level uuuum 4 I think

I binded a mouse button to spot - you just need to get into the habit of spotting get bags of point for spotting- plus you can ask your team/sqaud for stuff with it - ' pass the cookies m8!'

Being ninja like seems to work better, had some fun'ish games last night, I inverted the controls for the chopper but the UAV is now inverted the wrong way
