Well and alot of pc games just get downloaded lol.
Allthough if companies realised that if a game has good supported multiplayer its worth the money.
I'm not paying 50-60 euro for a 8-9 hour SP game where they release DLC 3 weeks later to try to get more money out of you (talking about mafia 2), when they could've easily just put that in to begin with and the game might actually be worth the money.
Where are the good old days where a game got patched every so often for no extra cost. I payed 10 euro for half-life and had 5 years of fun with Counter-strike.
I'ts kind of a circle, games get downloaded so they use dlc and don't give free support to try get some extra money. But because they do that alot of pc-gamers get annoyed and stop buying games... so ye xD
Anyways, I allready pre-ordered black ops, found a webshop where i got it for 33 euro. Wouldn't have done that for the normal store price of 60 euro. Now all I can do is wait and hope they don't deliver a sucky unsuported game.
P.S. another point to rant about is the mw2 map packs, 14 euro for 1 pack and that even includes reused maps from mw1... so they expect me to pay 28 euro for a few new maps? (not to mention they are still charging 60 euro on steam for a 10 month old game) really? If it wasnt for the shop where i got it for 35 euro i would've never bought the game.
It's shit like that makes me not wanting to support some game developers.
Team fortress 2 is an example of how it should be
