mabee its time i took up an admin post on the servers , i have just looked at the members who have admin rights and lol its everybody who has ever donated a quid to the server upkeep , i dont realy want them but if i can get banned by any member who has donated a pound dollar or yen .i think its time i took them up.
now i dont realy want them i just wanna play at the weekend,but if this is the case as i have just been through the members list and i am starting to feel agreived .
oh an by the way am no pissed when i posted this,

Not everyone because I don't. I've donated to the servers, but only rarely when Zofo says it's desperate. But I wouldn't do much with the admin anyway.

oh yes and dont think this is green cheese from me far from it guys an dolls,its my feeling that if you are gonna have server admins they should be voted for and no more than 4 or 5 of them,well thats my personal feelings on the matter.
i would like to know what all the community members think on this matter so feel free to post your replys .

Those that pay, keep the servers and hence the community going. They have a louder voice and input into what happens.

There's no rule and we have flexibility.

people who donate 'REGULARLY' are able to be selected as admins to the servers.. donating does not guarentee admin rights as we need to make sure admins are mature enough for the position. admins cannot be banned by admins as each admin has immunity of a certain level..all being the same.should an admin need banning for whatever reason (we are all still bound by the community rules) then a post needs to be made and it will be under review by the community leaders.

I would donate. But being my age. I havn't got a big income coming in.

I use the server so i feel i should pay in some way. But we help get the server's going etc.

i am not the only 1 who has been pissed and  made there  mouth go on this server .

as i recall all who paid dosh to the servers were granted server admin rights.
personaly i only decided to post this when i had a look at all the members who had the opp to ban peeps.

This is what is pissing me off more than anything else i think as a community we should get it sorted.
well thats my personal view ,i take it there are a lot of peeps with there own view ,but if you want laws that run for some and not for others the whole thing sux,now look i will say this again ,this is not for myself but for others who want to join this community ,and are willing to pay their hard earnd cash to keep it running,it should be run by the people for the people.

Welcome to the discussion Scumm.  We've been having it for months.  Seriously, you're very welcome to get involved.

i would like this run like an institution by the people for the people rather than by a few for a few!

1. It can't the run by everyone.  Elsewhere you mention structure and rules, so that necessarily means not everyone has the same/equal right and responsibilities.
2. It must be run in accordance with its principles and objectives. This is what we've been discussing.  You've only just seemed to have realised that we're evolving. Changing.  This has been happening around these discussions.

I've read your posts a few times, looking for actual suggestions.  Alternative actions, structures and reasoning that might help guide our evolution.  I can't see any Scumm.  I guess that's the booze blurring your rational, constructive self, but please don't just critise.  We're all trying our best for ne.  Honestly.  :)

Maybe we can chat on irc or TS sometime, because there's a lot of ground for you to catch up.  Some of it's even on the old forum which is now unavailable.  Yes, it's been happening that long!    :P

And finally, for now, look at the results.  New members of the squad and the community.  Busy server and TS and some regular scrims.  New forum,,, in progress.  Sound finances.  We've done very well imo.
