and i strongly reccomment a monoprop-tanker - and then monoprop-crafts! :D

i managed to get a big rover down on Duna, but for some reason three of its wheels were broken before I even entered the atmosphere. luckily i packed some RCS on the thing in case it flips over... turned out - they cant turn it over, but they can make my lil rover go hovering all the way :D
must be even better on the mun or minmus - which will be my next experiment (but then with more fuel, i barely made it to Duna).

So I got an observation module up there but it was a bit underwhelming tbh, I was hoping to cram a few in there but they only hold 1 Kerbal and the view wasn't that great. Ahh well, they'll be added to my next, (and final....and SAVED!), base builder craft that shall be born this fine evening.

Then I'mma make a city on the Mun visible from orbit...mebbe.
