Christ if you guys are playing with lego, I must be on duplo...

This makes me cry at how bad I am :(

But that is fucking awesome seriously awesome. Oh will also post my fail "mega ultra" rocket. Needs some extra boosters (roughly 20 more) to lift off the ground I think :)

Yeah panda, it's a bit sad just how good that guy is. Reading his own words about it, each of the little craft took about a week of building and testing, not to mention all the other bits and THAT LANDING!

Gob was smacked. He made it look so easy.

Anyway, here's my Munbase:

It currently houses about 8 Kerbals I think. Wanna get a rover or two to them now to alleviate boredom :D

This is now as MASSIVE as it's going to get I'm afraid. 2 FPS isn't fun  :-\

Also, land docking isn't as easy as I was hoping it was going to be. Only managed to dock once out of all those. The first two went together easy enough but then I changed the design of the wheels and they don't line up anymore. Next base will be same design I think, perhaps Duna requires a Kerbal presence.

Hover rover ready to go...I think he may look a little scared.

He was right too, was a bit of a cow that hover rover...too much thrust from beneath, mini rocket removed for the file upload, should be fine now. Yeah, definitely fine. No-one will die using it, definitely. Uh-huh. Yup.

Finally I get to Laythe. Took me ages to work it all out, but we made it. Vessel at launch had 7000 m/s of delta v but the triple nuclear rockets obviously perform much better in the vacuum so as we ascended the delta v went up to just over 10,000.

Got to Joolian orbit and then lowered the old apoapsis until we got a Laythe encounter. That was a bit tricky but we got there in 3 maneuvers.

Aerobraked in,

landed on a nice island, ate an ice cream, wandered around, came home in time for tea.

They didn't come home, no fuel left, sorry guys.

They're happy enough though, just as well spose :/

Oh wow, might have to download the .craft file for this bad boy! Looks a lot o' fun

Breaking KSP physics "The Wiggler"

Here's my new little rover, it can do doughnuts and climb steep banks easily. It's a boss.

Here's two of them clipped to the landers of my two lander transport craft.

Trying to get to each of Jool's moons and back home. This is some challenge I've set myself but trying to work it all out is fun. These two should be able to go to 3 of the 5 moons and return to the mothership. Landing and getting back from both Laythe and Vall is going to require another breed of lander altogether. Much more fuel required for those bad boys. Think I'm gonna have to build a station at Jool for all this to work. My brain hurts...

It's doing OK, nice bit of lag with over 450 parts, but it flies real nice.

A test flight and docking. All seemed to work well. Next stop...well, orbit again to rendezvous with another lander for the bigger moons and then, maybe then off to Jool.
