I messed around with the plane parts from the B9 Aerospace pack and eventually came up with a thing that actually flew reasonably well. I called it the Bitch and she got almost to orbit, (bad piloting skills and not enough fuel), and then glided back down beautifully.

Part of the IVA view from the B9 S2 Cockpit

Here's me flying inverted after watching a bit of 'Flight' with Denzil.

Trippy IVA re-entry

I aimed for the lake...I pretty much rolled up to the lake. STRONK!

Space planes are hard but fun. A bit like an overly erect...bouncy castle.

Here's my new cargo bay lander, It will eventually be incorporated in another cargo bay in an interplanetary stage that will be stuck on a powerful lifter. Sweet mods are sweet. Check out that robotic piston!

Climbing down from the command pod using the carefully placed ladders.

Jump in the chair.

Annnnnd, away we go!

Lovely stuff. The hover rover needs a bit of work, but you get the idea :D

I built my first plane that behaves like a plane. It actually flies properly and not like a beached whale as the one up there tended to. I call it 'The Molerat'. After naked fame. Only atmospheric for now but one step at a time...

The faces are part of the universe replacer, which is just new a new skybox and surfaces for planets and moons, EVA suits, other things...and kerbal faces.

Just a .png file that you shove in a folder. More RAM usage but yeah, how could I not have those faces!

Mods are awesome :D

Also, I love it when a plan comes together...

Yesterday I built a space station, today I got it up. Oooh-err-missus.

The lifter I built for my Duna mission looked like a good way good way to orbitise my station, it was built from scratch as an attachable component after all, yay for sub-assemblies :D

Easy does it

In position, extend blanket solar panels...

Hell yeah!

Final station stats include:

1) Circular 120K orbit (+/- 1k)
2) Monoprop carried: 5700
3) Liquid fuel carried: 9501
4) Oxidiser carried: 10,513
5) Numerous docking ports of all sizes
6) 1000m/s left on the last lifter stage should I decide to go somewhere else.
7) A hidden purple tank left over from the Duna mission...lol!

Having a wander round

Right then, next up, a proper space plane to use all those lovely consumables!

Dear holy thing that spawned us, I love this game :D
