I  miss Humbug's dulcet tones in my life. I have now bought myself this game and demand, nay, insist, I hear his lovely voice again.

Although with Watchdogs coming out today, 6v6 TF2 to play and the dog fighting module of Star Citizen supposedly arriving on Thursday I don't know when I can start this adventure...

I now have too many new games to play, oh woe is me! Anyway, hit me up if you can spare a few minutes to initiate a noob.  Cheers.

welcome to the game man :)

You've just come in at the right time.  The first itteration of caves is this week in readiness for SoE to go to E3.  there are other things in there also but the updates from here on in should be nice..not that the rest weren't but they were more back end stuff ready for this.
Cheers and Good Game

Spent an hour or two running round whacking the ground and some trees. Made a flag. Stuck flag in the ground. Threw some voxels down. Couldn't make them into anything. Think I may need to go do some reading.

Also, what's with the whole, if I don't log in and spend some copper I lose my land? That's a bit poo. What happens if I'm away for a couple of weeks?

while it's in closed beta the max amount of days you can pay upkeep for is 8.  They have to have people actually playing the game to test stuff and it's also a way of keeping dead builds out of the worlds.

There will be a way that you can earn the ability to pay for extra days (up to 30 days max) when it goes live.

Ah cool, I presumed there would be a reason. I picked a crappy spot anyway. I'll hit you up if I see you on steam or in mumble if that's cool, think I may need some guidance :D
