Hardware OC have produced a benchmarking program http://http://hocbench.com/ut3.php, u just need UT3 patched up to 1.2 to use it

two runs for each res

and I'll keep this first post updated with results

quality - high

Anisoitropic filtering x 16
Please use Version 1.1.0.0 there is a small hit in FPS with Version 1.3.0.0 but its less than 1%

Run at- (if you can)

Index D= Intel dual, Q =Intel Quad

( my 9800GTX,clocked is getting artifacts at the overclocked settings in UT3 when I've found the sweat spot I will re- run the benchie)

Remember its not a competition of whos winning its here to help other make better choices. No flaming (in thread) or post will be removed

Benchmark tips - the only tweak that affects the benchie is -

Code:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3 Demo\UTGame\Config\UTEngine.ini

bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE
MinSmoothedFrameRate=999
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=999
bClearAnimSetLinkupCachesOnLoadMap=TRUE

have tried the others and they make no difference - may be different when playing

N.B.The benchmark can sometimes 'mess' up the config files or just won't run so b4 running move all the files in CDocuments and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3 Demo\UTGame\Config\ and restart UT3 (you will need the CD key) then close it at the frame rate tweak and your ready to go. then when finished just copy the contents of each ini file back with copy and paste in 'notepad' AT least copy the files b4 running benchie - just in case.

If any results look like they have tempered with I may ask you to send me the result for comfirmation (just click on my username and send it via e-mail) your results can be found in
Code:

C:\Program Files\HardwareOC BenchTools\UT3 Bench\Benchmark\
